This week’s theme for the 40 Days of Prayer is an invitation from our heavenly Father for us to pray as our first response in times of trouble. This is a precious gift, however, many times prayer is not our first response but a last resort. What are the barriers that keep us from going to God first in prayer and how can we overcome them?
