Attendees are strongly encouraged to purchase the book “not a fan. – Becoming a Completely Committed Follower of Jesus” by Kyle Idleman for the class.

The description on the back of the book says it best: Are you a fan or a follower?

Fans want to be close enough to Jesus to get all the benefits, but not so close that it requires sacrifice. Fans may be fine with repeating a prayer and attending church on the weekend. But is that the extent of the relationship Jesus wants?

This class will be thought provoking and challenging for some. I believe people are ready for the next steps in their faith walk and as I see a revival beginning, we need to be prepared and all in! Contact Staci at 651-357-2209 if you plan to attend or have any questions.

Kathy Schwanke will continue to lead “Looking At Light With Luke”

In his gospel, Luke focuses on the wide-open invitation that Jesus offers to all who will receive Him. We are in Luke’s 6th chapter and are continuing to see God’s mercy and grace for the “non-elites” of His day (Luke 4:18-19) while enduring and confidently answering the lofty accusations of His opposers.

This hour is serving “depth of insight” into Jesus and the application of His word and His way for us in our world today. If you’re longing to be more like Jesus, if you’re hungering for rich conversations, if you need greater confidence in your daily journey, you’ll be blessed by attending Looking at the Light in the Gospel of Luke together.

Equip your family to grow deeper in God’s Word.  Join Seth and other fathers, grandfathers and aspiring fathers as we build confidence in leading meaningful conversations around Scripture.  Together, we’ll explore God’s Word in a thoughtful, engaging, and reflective way – gaining practical experience and tools to help us lead, teach, and disciple our families well.
