Children are a very important part of the body of Christ and are valued at East Lincoln Alliance Church.  Our hope is that each child will confidently know, love, and trust the Lord; and be faithful in following Him.  We desire to partner with parents to encourage and reinforce the teaching of God’s Word that is happening at home, resulting in lives that are built on a firm foundation and transformed both today and for eternity.

Our Discovery Land classes take place during the worship service and invite children 4 years old through 3rd grade to discover eternal treasures in God’s word.  Each Bible lesson (taught in an age appropriate and engaging way) challenges students to understand the heartbeat of God and points them to Jesus, their Savior.  Children will not only participate in a sound Bible lesson but will experience fun hands-on activities that support the teaching, learn memory verses, worship together, and be equipped with strategy for continuing to grow throughout the week.  We have a solid team of volunteers who have a heart for God and His children; and are committed to helping kids develop and strengthen their faith in Christ.  Children participating in Discovery Land should check in at their classroom before joining their family for the first part of the worship service. They will then be released to class during announcements.

Children ages 1-3 are welcome to participate in our Early Childhood class, where they will be lovingly cared for and prayed for by kind and skilled volunteers.  Young children will also spend some time being taught about the love and truth of God in a short, fun, and basic way.  Parents can drop their child(ren) off in the Early Childhood room anytime after 9:45am.
