Small Groups

Small Groups might be the most effective situation we offer to grow in faith and become a disciple who makes disciples.

East Lincoln has several groups meeting each week at different times and places.  These groups enjoy food and fellowship as they dig into the Bible together, as seen in Acts 2:42,46:

42And they devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching and the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and the prayers.  46And day by day, attending the temple together and breaking bread in their homes, they received their food with glad and generous hearts,

Our small groups are encouraged to “spur each other onto love and good deeds” (Heb10:24) by planning and completing service work.  We believe everyone should be involved in a small group and enjoy the study of Scripture, prayer support, personal application, caring for one another, and accountability.

MISSION STATEMENT

Our mission is to glorify God by making disciples who treasure Jesus Christ above all things, build one another up in the faith and reach the lost with the gospel.

“But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9
